Pre-Retreat Research
The Valley of The Roses
A night to relax in Marrakech after our flights and then a day of travel across the Atlas Mountains with amazing sights!
We ate dinner in a palace, visited a Glaoui Kasbah and UNESCO World Heritage site Ait Ben Haddou.
in the Valley of the Roses we enjoyed beautiful walks and hikes through fjords of small villages as well as beautiful historical and natural sites.

We stayed outside the Medina at Peacock Pavilions. Our visits and experiences included a Moroccan cooking class, a tour of the Medina and time in the Souks, Les Jardins Majorelle, The Berber Museum, Imlil in the Atlas Mountains, herb/traditional medicine shopping, rug shopping, and more. We enjoyed beautiful music on our last night, and of course visited a Hammam/spa.
